POP3 and Outlook 98/2000To configure your POP3-compliant version of MS Outlook (98 and higher) to retrieve email from youraccount, please follow these steps. Note: If you are using Outlook 97, authenticated SMTP is notsupported. You MUST select a different email client.1. Go to the Tool menu and click on "Services."2. Click on the "Add" button.3. Make sure Internet Mail is highlighted and click on the "Add" button (if this is your first timeentering the mail program). If you are entering the mail program for the second time, click onthe "Properties" button.4. Fill in the Personal and Mailbox Information:ooooooName of the Service (e.g. AT&T POP3)Full name: Your full name (e.g., John Smith)Email address: Your AT&T email address (e.g., jsmith1@attglobal.net)OrganizationReply Address (Same as E-Mail address)5. Click the Servers TabooooIncoming Mail (POP3): Enter the POP3 Server Name provided when your account issetup (e.g. pop1.attglobal.net)Outgoing Mail (SMTP): Enter the SMTP Server Name provided with your accountsetup information.
