POP3 and Netscape MessengerTo configure your POP3-compliant version of Netscape Messenger (with Netscape Communicator4.x) to retrieve email from your AT&T account, please follow these steps:1. Go to your browser's Edit menu and click on "Preferences."2. Click on the "+" sign next to "Mail and Groups."3. Click on "Identity" and fill in the areas for your name and email address.4. Now click on "Mail Server" and click “Add” fill in the fields with the following information:oooServer user name: Enter the POP3 Server Name provided when youraccount is setup (e.g. pop1.attglobal.net)Server Type: Select POP3 ServerUser Name: Enter account.userid (e.g., dslacct.user1234)5. When complete, Click “OK”6. In the field Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Enter the SMTP Server Name providedwith your account setup information. (e.g. asmtp.attglobal.net)oIn the field Outgoing Mail server user name: Enter account.userid, e.g.:dslacct.user12347.
