Chandra H. Sekaran, andincludes Sri. Shekar Narasimhan and Sri. Ramchar Mukunda as itsmembers. The mandate is specified in a charter and will include oversightof financial reporting, external and internal audits, internal controlsand compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The auditcommittee is responsible to appoint an internal auditor in accordancewith the charter. Accordingly, Sri. Sreekumar Sreedharan has kindlyaccepted to be the internal auditor for SSVT.The GB has also appointed Sri. Gundu Rao and Srimati. Hema Murlias the Ombudspersons for SSVT.The Board of Trustees have established the Finance Committee comprisingof the following members; Sri. V.S. Raghavan, Sri. ShekarNarasimhan, Sri. K. G. Venkataraman, Sri. K.G.V. Krishna, Sri. RaviNarayan, Sri. Umesh Shankar and Srimati. Anjana Sriram (currentTreasurer). The functions of the Finance Committee includes, reviewingoperating and capital budgets; fundraising for capital projects andendowment resources; oversight and management of endowment resourcesand borrowing and use of annual surplus.The term of appointment for all of the above committees and positionsis for a period of one year starting July 1, 2012 and may be extendedfor another year. The Board of Trustees would like to thank all theabove volunteers for their time and dedication.Change in Religious Service ChargesKeeping the devotees needs in mind Temple has kept the prices ofreligious services without changing for over a decade. In the recentyears temple operations cost has increased substantially due to variousfactors. Inorder to meet these increasing costs a nominal priceincrease to all paid religious services has been made which will takeeffect from the begining of next year.
