Themine supplies bauxite to the Queensland Alumina Limited refinery and to RTA’s Yarwunrefinery, both located in Gladstone, Queensland. They also supply a growing export marketto Ukraine, Japan and China. These refineries produce alumina as feedstock for RTA’ssmelting operations and for sale on the international market.RTA supports Native Title rights and has continued its mining operations in consultation withthe traditional owners of the region.
