Maintenance tipsNew floors• Damp mop immediately after installation.Do not scrub or wash for at least 72 hours.Regular maintenance• Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove loose dirt.Note: We do not recommend the use of:– Any vacuum with a beater bar that can visiblydamage your flooring surface– Electric brooms with a hard plasticbottom that may result in discolourationand de-glossing– Steam mops or similar• Wipe up spills as soon as possible; never use highlyabrasive scrubbing tools.• Wash your floor regularly with a neutral detergentsuch as Armstrong Once’n’Done or ArmstrongLuxe 2-in-1 resilient floor cleaner.• Do NOT use detergents, abrasive cleaners, or“mop and shine” products, which may leave a dullfilm on your floor.• To maintain shine, apply Armstrong Shinekeeper ®Resilient Floor Finish. Do NOT use paste wax orsolvent-based polishes.• Vinyl flooring can become slippery when wet; allowtime for floor to dry after washing; immediatelywipe up wet areas from spills, foreign substances,or wet feet.• Do not use highly alkaline ‘floor strippers’,which could damage the adhesive bondsbetween the planks.Proactive protection of your floor• If moving heavy items, prevent scuffing byusing a protective panel to “walk” the item acrossthe floor.• Use floor protectors under furniture toreduce indentations.• Place a walk-off mat at entrances to minimise dirtbrought in.
