the issuance of INTERPOL Red Notices on all nine. 54 However, <strong>Iran</strong> took extraordinarymeasures to try to block the issuance of the Red Notices by INTERPOL, and <strong>Iran</strong> succeededin part, as the General Assembly of INTERPOL upheld a decision by the ExecutiveCommittee to issue only six Red Notices, instead of the nine sought by the Argentines.The six who were the subjects of Red Notices included Imad Mughniyah (Hizballah chiefof terrorism), Ali Fallahian (MOIS minister), Mohsen Rabbani (<strong>Iran</strong>ian cultural attaché),Ahmad Reza Asgari (senior MOIS official), Ahmad Vahidi (Qods Force commander),and Mohsen Rezai (IRGC commander).
