Monty. Off- Broadway, Viviano co-starred in <strong>the</strong> recent<br />

revival of Closer Than Ever* (Broadway World Award -<br />

Best Actor; Off-Broadway Alliance Award); as well as in<br />

The Big Time; Golf The Musical* (Backstage Award- Best<br />

Actor); Beau Jest; Ca<strong>the</strong>r County*; Weird Romance*;<br />

Catch Me If I Fall*; Broadway Jukebox; and Hamlet, The<br />

Opera (<strong>for</strong> Joseph Papp), among o<strong>the</strong>rs. On tour he’s<br />

starred in Chicago; Evita; Joseph and <strong>the</strong>…Dreamcoat;<br />

Anything Goes!; The Pirates of Penzance; Hair; Sunday in<br />

<strong>the</strong> Park With George (Helen Hayes Award - Best Actor<br />

nom.). On film, Viviano starred in John Fasano’s cult classics<br />

Black Roses* (newly released on a Collector’s Edition<br />

DVD), and The Jitters; and appeared in (and recorded<br />

songs <strong>for</strong>…) Legally Blonde 2*; Spike of Bensonhurst*; and<br />

Life With Mikey*, among o<strong>the</strong>rs. The ‘highlight’ of his couple<br />

dozen primetime guest appearances and daytime television<br />

credits: Vincent VanGogh in Disney’s Out of <strong>the</strong> Box<br />

(Parent’s Choice Award)… Viviano’s recordings include<br />

two LIVE albums recorded with full orchestra: his most<br />

recent, a Solo CD entitled Perfectly Frank- A Century of<br />

Sinatra (a 2-CD set of 40 Sinatra hits), and The Standards<br />

of Love (of which Billboard said: “...a clarion and richlycolored<br />

voice with a mellow, saxophone-like timbre…”) both<br />

on The FRIARecords Label (with a new Christmas Album<br />

also in <strong>the</strong> works). His original cast, compilation, and solo<br />

CD recordings number over 70, on a dozen different labels<br />

(including *’d titles above). A proud 20-year member of<br />

<strong>the</strong> famed FRIARS Club, Sal has also sung our National<br />

An<strong>the</strong>m <strong>for</strong> over 30 seasons <strong>for</strong> NY’s Mets. Sal Viviano resides<br />

in New York City and Culver City, CA with his wife,<br />

<strong>the</strong> extraordinary actress Liz Larsen (currently co-starring<br />

in Beautiful, The Carole King Musical, on Broadway), and<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir boys, Alessandro Gian (18) and Joseph Dante (15)<br />

Mary Henderson (Stage Manager) graduated from<br />

The Hill School in Pottstown, PA this year after stage<br />

managing <strong>the</strong>ir production of Brigadoon and working<br />

as an audio technician <strong>for</strong> its productions of Brigadoon,<br />

Anything Goes, and How To Succeed in Business<br />

Without Really Trying, among o<strong>the</strong>rs. She has also interned<br />

<strong>for</strong> Broadway’s Phantom of <strong>the</strong> Opera, Wicked,<br />

and Rock of Ages. She will be attending Franklin and<br />

Marshall College in <strong>the</strong> fall.<br />

Nathan Powell‘s (Sound Designer) professional career<br />

began as a sound engineer <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> United States<br />

Government in <strong>the</strong> early 1980’s. He was on <strong>the</strong> audio<br />

engineers <strong>for</strong> President Reagan and Vice President<br />

Bush’s 1984 Re-Election Tour. Following this tour, he<br />

became a staff audio engineer <strong>for</strong> Opryland Productions<br />

in Nashville, TN (home of <strong>the</strong> world famous<br />

Grand Ol’ Opry & TNN).<br />

During his 7-year tenure with Opryland Productions,<br />

Nathan’s skill in audio production developed<br />

to <strong>the</strong> level where he was responsible <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> audio<br />

engineering and mixing of some of <strong>the</strong> top entertainers<br />

in both <strong>the</strong> Country and Rock music fields.<br />

Additionally, he was contracted to co-design and mix<br />

a number of top Broadway musical productions.<br />

Jeff Bettencourt (Lighting Designer) Jeff is a resident<br />

lighting designer <strong>for</strong> Starlite Productions of Moorestown,<br />

New Jersey. He has been working with live<br />

<strong>the</strong>atre <strong>for</strong> over fifteen years and has designed lights<br />

<strong>for</strong> musicals, plays, fashion and talent shows, and<br />

bands all over Delaware, South Jersey, and Philadelphia.<br />

Jeff is pleased to be returning to NEMC <strong>for</strong> his<br />

second summer and looks <strong>for</strong>ward to <strong>the</strong> many more<br />

to come.<br />
