Obviously being 4th v 5th I new itwas going to be a tough day in the office. The Kings had a couple of changes with Oscar Miller playing his first game forthe Kings and Henry Schrier playing his first game for the year after a stint onthe sidelines. The Kings came out of the blocks fast in the first quarter at foundthemselves up by 11 points at the first change. The Kings kept the pace upin the second term however where outscored kicking 1 goals to Plympton’s 3goals 2 points. This had the Kings leading by 4 points at the main change.I tried to stress the importance of this game to the lads and to keep fightingin the second half. This however had no effect and the Kings only managed 2points after half time while Plympton managed 3 goals 8. We where very luckyPlympton didn’t kick straight as the score line could have been a lot worse.Max Grigioul was the only multiple goal scorer on the day and he alsomanaged to sneak into the second best. Oscar Richardson played a greatgame in the midfield and managed the BOG for the Kings. Charlie Hall, SamLawerence, Peter Clayer and Henry Schrier all played good games and foundthemselves in the best players. It was a bitter pill for the Kings to swallow as the loss has left us 4 wins 5losses and down to 7th on the ladder. We will need a big second half of theyear and hopefully string a few wins together.Get down to Haslam this weekend to watch us take on Adelaide Lutheran.Nck Smerdon - C-Grade CoachNEXT 4The Kings Speech - 1308 -Page 11-May 2013
