. 学 内 施 設 / Campus Facilities1 . 留 学 生 センター(ECIS)留 学 生 センターは、1993 年 に 大 学 の 共 同 教 育 研 究 施 設 として 設 立 されました。 名 古 屋 大 学 では、 近 年 約 1,800 名 以 上の 留 学 生 を 受 け 入 れています。 留 学 生 センターは 本 学 の 国際 化 を 担 う 中 心 的 施 設 として 重 要 な 役 割 を 担 っています。現 在 は、 日 本 語 ・ 日 本 文 化 教 育 部 門 、 日 本 語 教 育 メディアシステム 開 発 部 門 (JEMS)、 短 期 留 学 部 門 (NUPACE)、アドバイジング・カウンセリング 部 門 (ACS)の 4 部 門で 構 成 され、 連 携 を 取 りながら 業 務 を 遂 行 しています。 外国 人 に 対 する 日 本 語 教 育 については、すでに 国 内 外 で 高 い評 価 を 受 けている 「 日 本 語 ・ 日 本 文 化 教 育 部 門 」 に 加 え、1999 年 「 日 本 語 教 育 メディアシステム 開 発 部 門 」 が 新 設 され、21 世 紀 のインターネット 学 習 の 教 材 開 発 やネットワーク 構 築 を 行 なう 部 門 として 成 果 をあげています。また、「NUFACE」 は、 海 外 の 大 学 との 学 生 交 流 を 推 進 し、本 学 の 国 際 交 流 コーディネーターとしての 役 割 を 担 っています。ACS では、 海 外 からの 留 学 生 に 対 して 日 本 での 研 究 および 生 活 が 有 意 義 なものとなるよう 一 人 一 人 を 大 切 にした 指導 ・ 助 言 がなされています。 更 に、 在 学 生 に 対 しては、 豊かな 国 際 経 験 を 積 み 社 会 に 貢 献 できる 人 材 として 育 つよう海 外 留 学 の 指 導 ・ 相 談 を 行 っています。* 留 学 生 は、ラウンジ(ECIS 1 階 )、アドバイジング・カウンセリング 部 門 (IB 館 西 棟 739 号 と ECIS 105 号 /204 号 )、テラス(ECIS 2 階 )、コンピューター 室 (ECIS3 階 )が 利 用 できます。 各 教 室 では、 授 業 の 他 、 様 々な研 修 ・ 交 流 プログラムを 行 なっています。留 学 生 センターhttp://www.ecis.nagoya-u.ac.jp/アドバイジング・カウンセリング 部 門http://www.isa.provost.nagoya-u.ac.jp/http://www.facebook.com/NUECIS.ACS2 . 国 際 学 生 交 流 課留 学 生 センター 1 階 にある 国 際 学 生 交 流 課 では 名 古 屋 大 学の 留 学 生 に 関 わる 次 の 業 務 を 行 なっています。1 受 入 れに 関 すること2 奨 学 金 及 び 宿 舎 などの 福 利 厚 生 に 関 すること3 短 期 交 換 留 学 に 関 すること4 地 域 との 交 流 やイベントなどの 情 報 提 供5 帰 国 後 のアフターケアに 関 すること1. Education Center for International Students(ECIS)The Education Center for International Students (ECIS)was established in April 1993 as a campus-wide educationand research facility. Presently, more than 1800international students are studying at Nagoya University.The ECIS has been playing a role as a globalizationcentral for Nagoya University. The ECIS comprises fourdepartments; Japanese Language and Cultural Education,Japanese Language Education Media & Systems Lab(JEMS), Advising & Counseling Services (ACS), and theNagoya University Programs for Academic Exchange(NUPACE). As for the Japanese language education, inaddition to the worldly acclaimed “Japanese Languageand Cultural Education,” the JEMS was established in1999 to fortify the development of Internet-based leaningmedia and networking systems, leading the educationaltrends of this information era.The NUPACE organizes short-term student exchangeprogram between Nagoya University and its partnerinstitutions beyond borders, playing a role of aninternational exchange coordinator.At the ACS, an extensive advising and support systemassists students with prob lems arising in their studies anddaily life; and academic exchange promotion programshave been established and consolidated, which not onlygive international stu dents a taste of life at a Japaneseuniversity, but also en able students enrolled at NagoyaUniversity to sample the world.*Students can use or visit the following facilities:Lounge (ECIS 1F), Advising & CounselingServices (IB Bldg. West wing #739 / ECIS#105&204),Terrace (ECIS 2F), and com puter room (ECIS 3F).
