Failure to do so may affectyour stipend adversely.◆ 一 時 帰 国 などで、 月 の 初 めから 月 の 終 わりまで 日 本 を 離れた 場 合 は、その 月 の 奨 学 金 は 支 給 されません。また、 休学 及 び 長 期 欠 席 した 場 合 も、 原 則 としてその 間 の 奨 学 金 は支 給 されません。counts.◆ Students, who leave Japan for a full calendar month,will not be eligible for stipend that month. The sameprinciple applies to those students who take lengthyabsences from their school and studies.⑵ 奨 学 金 支 給 期 間 の 延 長大 学 院 進 学 などを 希 望 する 国 費 外 国 人 留 学 生 の 中 で、 研究 留 学 生 と 学 部 留 学 生 については、 申 請 資 格 がある 場合 、 奨 学 金 支 給 期 間 の 延 長 を 申 請 することができます。進 学 を 予 定 している 年 の 前 年 度 の 9 月 ~10 月 に、 希 望 者は 各 学 部 ・ 研 究 科 等 の 担 当 掛 を 通 して 申 請 してください。特 に、 研 究 生 については、いつ 入 学 試 験 を 受 けて 進 学 するかなど、 今 後 の 予 定 を 指 導 教 員 によく 相 談 のうえ、 延長 申 請 の 時 期 を 判 断 してください。 延 長 申 請 が 認 められるかどうかは、 文 部 科 学 省 の 選 考 によって 決 定 しますが、 毎 年 延 長 希 望 者 が 多 いため 認 められない 場 合 があります。◆ 大 使 館 推 薦 により 学 部 留 学 生 に 採 用 され、 引 き 続 き 国 費外 国 人 留 学 生 として 修 士 課 程 に 在 籍 している 者 のうち 特に 優 秀 で、 且 つ 申 請 基 準 を 満 たす 者 については、 博 士 課程 修 了 時 までの 延 長 申 請 ができます。◆ 学 部 または 修 士 課 程 から 上 級 課 程 への 進 学 を 希 望 して 延長 を 申 請 するにあたっては、 在 籍 する 課 程 の 学 業 成 績 係数 が 文 部 科 学 省 で 定 められた 基 準 値 以 上 である 必 要 があります。◆ 学 業 成 績 係 数 の 算 出 方 法 や、 申 請 資 格 ・ 延 長 申 請 時 期 などの 詳 細 は、 各 学 部 ・ 研 究 科 等 の 担 当 掛 に 確 認 してください(2) Extension of Tenure of ScholarshipProviding that they meet the relevant requirements,undergraduate and research students who wish toproceed to a higher degree are eligible to apply foran extension of their scholarship. Qualified studentswho wish to proceed to a higher degree in the followingyear should apply through the office of their schoolin September-October period of the final year of thedegree they are presently undertaking. Re searchstudents should discuss with their academic advisorsconcerning their academic plan, entrance examinationschedule, etc. in or der to confirm applicationschedules for the extension of their scholarship.Extensions are decided by the Ministry of Education(Monbukagakusho) and stu dents are advised that, dueto great demand, not all applications for extension oftenure are successful.◆Japanese Government Scholarship students, recommendedas Undergraduate Students by the JapaneseEmbassy, who are enrolled in Masters’ programs, canapply for an extension of the period of scholarshipunder the condition they have excellent academic resultsand fulfill the relevant requirements.◆Undergraduate and master’s course students, whowant to enroll in a higher degree, should submit theirgrade point average (GPA), which should be calculatedaccording to Monbukagakusho methodology.Students must meet the minimum GPA requirement setby Monbukagakusho in order to apply.◆ Students should confirm the application process, eligibility,details regarding GPA, and any other informationwith the office of their school.Ⅷ2 . 私 費 外 国 人 留 学 生 に 対 する 奨 学 金 制 度名 古 屋 大 学 に 在 籍 する 外 国 人 留 学 生 は1,799 人 (2012 年 11 月 現 在 )ですが、その 中 の76% が 私 費 留 学 生 です。 財 政的 支 援 としては、 以 下 のようなものがあります。 一 般 に、奨 学 金 情 報 は、 所 属 学 部 ・ 研 究 科 などに 掲 示 あるいは 通 知されますので、 毎 日 、 掲 示 板 を 見 るようにしてください。2.
