The periodof residence varies according to programs. After thedesignated residence period, students are requiredto move out of dormitories and move into their ownaccommodation. It houses alibrary, a common lounge, shared kitchens,a Japanese style room, a computer room,laundry rooms and an administrativeoffice. Each room is furnished with a bed,wardrobe, desk, chair, air conditioner,bookshelf, refrigerator, shoebox, etc.It takes about 30 minutes by subway/bicycle to get tothe Higashiyama Campus. There are restaurants andshops in the vicinity. The computer room is open 24hours a day. Three Japanese graduate students live inthe house as tutors.(2) International Residence Higashiyama (Higashiyamacampus)Address: 1 Furo-cho, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya 464-0814Tel: 052-789-2197/052-747-6831 (Office)Facilities: This is an eight-story building with 95 singlerooms for international students (16m 2 )and 25 rooms (34m 2 ) for couples. Ithouses a lounge, a library, a meeting room,a Japa nese style room, a laundry room, across-cultural room and an administrativeof fice. Each room is furnished with akitchen, bathroom with toilet, bed, wardrobe,closet, desk, chair, air conditioner,refrigerator, shoebox, etc.Five Japanese graduate students live in the Residenceas tutors.
