Therefore, you need to reapply for thepermit whenever you apply for an extension of yourperiod of stay.◦ After you apply or reapply for the permit, pleasephotocopy both sides of your Residence Card andtake it to the international student office in yourschool.◦ Working for and doing business in the adultentertainment venues or related industries is strictlyprohibited. (The “entertainment industry” includesworking in pubs, bars and night clubs, mahjongrooms, pachinko parlors, and any venue related tothe adult entertainment and sex industry).◦ International students cannot work during their leaveof absence from school◦ For part-time work such as TA (Teaching Assistant)or RA (Research Assistant) done under contract withNagoya University, you do not need to apply for thepart-time work permit.◦ Students should show their Residence Card to theiremployers indicating the regulations pertaining tothe permit (Time limitation, work type limitation,etc.).◦ When selecting a part time job, you should confirmthe following content in advance.― 16 ―
