Ⅱ. 勉 学 ・ 研 究 / Study and Research履 修 手 続 き、 履 修 、 試 験 等 は 学 部 、 研 究 科 、 学 年 によって 異なりますので 各 学 部 ・ 研 究 科 等 の 担 当 掛 で 確 認 してください。ここでは 留 学 生 のみなさんに 共 通 する 項 目 のみ 簡 単 に 説 明 します。1 . 指 導 教 員学 生 生 活 ・ 研 究 上 の 悩 みや 問 題 が 生 じたときには、 指 導 教員 に 面 談 の 予 約 をして 相 談 することができます。 学 部 ・ 研究 科 ・ 学 年 等 によって 異 なりますので、 詳 細 は 各 学 部 ・ 研究 科 等 の 担 当 掛 にたずねてください。2 . 学 位学 部 ・ 研 究 科 に 所 定 の 期 間 在 学 し、 所 定 の 科 目 を 履 修 してその 単 位 を 修 得 し、かつ 学 部 の 定 める 卒 業 要 件 を 満 たした場 合 、あるいは 研 究 科 において 必 要 な 研 究 指 導 を 受 けた上 、 論 文 の 審 査 及 び 試 験 に 合 格 した 場 合 には、 学 位 が 授 与されます。 詳 細 は 各 学 部 ・ 研 究 科 等 の 担 当 掛 にたずねてください。3 . 研 究大 学 での 勉 学 ・ 研 究 を 行 う 中 、エッセイ、レポートや 研 究論 文 を 提 出 することはしばしば 求 められます。その 際 、 他人 の 文 章 ・ 貢 献 を 不 適 切 な 方 法 で 借 用 ・ 利 用 することは「 盗用 ・ 剽 窃 行 為 」とみなされますので、 十 分 に 注 意 をしてください。 大 学 ではレポートや 研 究 論 文 執 筆 関 連 コースやセミナーなどを 推 進 しているので 積 極 的 に 参 加 してください( 例 : 名 Writing によるワークショップへの 参 加 )名 Writing:http://www.ilas.nagoya-u.ac.jp/AWU/Mei-Writing/Top/Top.html4 .チューター原 則 として 渡 日 後 1 年 間 ( 学 部 学 生 は 入 学 後 2 年 間 )、 大学 院 生 などにより、 教 育 ・ 研 究 について 個 別 の 課 外 指 導 を受 けることができます。 必 要 な 条 件 を 満 たしていれば、 留学 生 が 他 の 留 学 生 のチューターになることも 可 能 です。 詳細 は 各 学 部 ・ 研 究 科 等 の 担 当 掛 にたずねてください。チューターマニュアル( 全 学 版 ):http://www.ecis.nagoya-u.ac.jp/info/life/support.html5 . 日 本 語 以 外 の 外 国 語 の 習 得日 本 語 以 外 の 外 国 語 を 習 得 したい 場 合 には、 国 際 言 語 文 化研 究 科 による 外 国 語 の 授 業 を 履 修 することができます(たCourse registration, completion and examinationrequirements vary according to the student’s school andstatus. Please consult the office of your school with regardto these matters.The following briefly explains items that are most likelyto be of concern to all international students.1. Academic AdvisorsStudents encountering difficulties with regard totheir studies or campus life, are encouraged to makean appointment with their academic advisors forassistance. The practice of making appointments withfaculty is different from school to school. Please consultthe office of your school for further information.2. DegreesDegrees will be granted to undergraduate and graduatestudents who have completed the necessary courses inthe given amount of time, earned the required numberof credits, and satisfied the requirements of the school.Contact the office of your school for further details.3. ResearchOver the course of their study at Nagoya University,students are normally required to submit essays,reports or research dissertations. In all their writtencoursework, students should adopt good academicwriting practice and avoid plagiarism and relatedoffences. TutorsAll international students are eligible to receive tutoringfor one year (two years for undergraduate students) afterarriving in Japan. Generally, tutors are fellow studentsmajoring in a similar field of study. Internationalstudents who meet the necessary requirements can alsobecome tutors of other international students.
