His work focuses on the theoretical underst<strong>and</strong>ing <strong>of</strong> the emergence<strong>of</strong> social norms, normative conflict, criminal behavior <strong>and</strong> their interrelation with the wisdom <strong>of</strong>crowds. He conducted a number <strong>of</strong> labora<strong>to</strong>ry experiments whose results were published inRationality <strong>and</strong> Society, Social Science Research, Journal <strong>of</strong> Mathematical Psychology,Zeitschrift für Soziologie <strong>and</strong> elsewhere. He is currently working on a book entitled <strong>Crime</strong> <strong>and</strong>Punishment from a Game Theoretical Perspective.1
