In the main mixer, heat ingredient 1 to 80°C with gentle mixing, to meltcompletely.2. Add the remaining ingredients of phase A, one at a time, maintainingtemperature at 70° to 80°C. Keep the mixer covered.3. Use a closed mixing vessel and nitrogen gas to make the head space ofthe mixer inert as a safety precaution.4. Increase agitation. The use of scraping action and high speed dispersingaction is recommended.5. In a separate vessel, combine and heat ingredients of phase B to 80 °C,with gentle mixing.6. Add phase B to phase A in the mixer. Pour slowly and maintaintemperature. Stir phase B occasionally during the addition. Continue touse strong mixing with scraping action and dispersing action in the mainmixer.7. As phase B is added, the batch will become increasingly thick and waxy. Itmay be necessary to add phase B in increments, stopping to scrape thematerial off the mixing equipment and stirring the batch manually beforecompleting the addition of phase B.8. After the addition is complete, mix for an additional 10 minutes.9.
