BASE MOUNT UPGRADE KITOn rear edge of the stand assembly for desktop mount application, there is arear connect cover. Either a 2nd LCD display panel option LM-6101 or acustomer display option PD-2501 or PD-2602 can be installed here afterremoving this cover.Please note that there could be certain restrictions to the tiltangle range for the main unit when the base mount upgrade kitis mounted. Investigation for the acceptability of such kind ofrestrictions must be taken before decision to install a basemount upgrade kit.12”/15” 2 nd LCD Panel or Customer DisplayTo remove the rear connect cover in slim base please refer to the inside viewof the base unit after removal of UPS battery asin picture at right and use a flat head screwdriverto pick the plastic hook plate of the rear connectcover from inside.Fit the joint base of PD-2501, PD-2602,PD-305 and LM-6101, LM-6501 to therear connect cover opening. Then makethe cable go through the normal cableexit (under the joint base) as in thesepictures. Fit 2 screws with washers tohold the joint tight. For low profile customer display PD-305, the installationprocedure is same. Remember to enable the +5 V DC supply in the COMport of the main unit for PD-2501, PD-2602 and PD-305 or the +12 V DC inVGA port for LM-6101.Please follow the installation instruction that come alone with the 15” 2 ndLCD monitor LM-6501 to mount the interface bracket kit onto the LCDpanel. Fit the interface bracket the same way as joint base of LM-6101 to therear connect opening and fix with 2 screws with washers. Route the VGAthrough the cable exit of the base stand to the main unit. Connect the attachedpower adaptor for its power source.Part 10

ROUTING THE CABLESPlace all the cables required for connections to the main unit except those forthe integrated attachment through the front part inside the stand assembly. Besure not to damage any cable during this operation.Now, turn the adjustable stand assemblyback to normal orientation and arrange allcables to come out of the area formounting main unit from the bottom edgefor ease of later operation.PREPARING THE MAIN UNITOn the back of the main unit, there is a service window among the 4matching pegs. Remove the service window lock screw to find severaljumpers. The jumpers in this window are designatedfor USB Touch setting, clear CMOS, COM1 DCDand RAID card reset(Optional) functions. Pleaseconsult your dealer for technical support on setup ofthese jumpers.
