RANDOM ACCESS DEVICE
RAD 120 is an innovative diagnostic system with
continuous and full random access mode for the total
automation of fluoroimmunoassays.
Reading is performed in fluorescence at 450 nm.
Rad 120 is able to automatically aliquote, assay,
predilute and dilute cascade tests (Reflex tests).
Urgent tests may be effected within the routine
performance without using dedicated positions.
The solid phase is constituted by ferrite magnetic
particles coated with zirconium.
These particles, thanks to their chemical and physical
characteristics, have a high binding capacity towards
biologically active molecules. This grants a rapid and
effective separation of free/bound fractions and
application to different test methods (direct, indirect,
capture).
An interactive and multitasking software helps the
user in all working phases.
EIA
Sirio S, microplate reader with up to 8 reading positions, is extremely flexible and fast photometer. It employss
3 seconds for each monocromatic reading at any wavelength for 96 flat bottomed and “U” shaped well microplates. It performs readings in absorbance,
end point and kinetic with turbidimetric and agglutination applications.
On the LCD is possible to visualize all the analytical parameters, cut-off, standard curves and final results that will be printed out by the incorporated
graphic printer. The keyboard helps in the selection of all the functions.
The management software files up to 48 analytical parameters and a maximum of 8 standards for the quantitative methods. For the qualitative tests the
following controls are provided: negative, cut-off, low positive, positive and high positive.
Further software features provided are:
- elaboration of reading data in concentration, depending on the interpolarity formula: linear, cubic, and logit-log;
- programming of standard curves;
- curve and cut-off storage, as reference values;
- initialization and self test.
Drop cod. 01050280
EIA
In the ELISA test preparation process, Drop is the indispensable instrument for the automated washing of
either 48 or 96 wells microplate. It is provided with two different manifolds, either with 8 or 12 needles, an horizontal or vertical microplate
washing can be chosen. The instrument is totally flexible and easily programmable by the operator, by directly inserting data through the
keyboard, displayed on the LCD.
It is possible to configure: number of washings per cycle, buffer solution volume, time and method of washing (per strip or per plate) and
soaking time. A mixing option is also selectable, with different mixing speed. The instrument is directly connected to the silicone treated glass
bottles containing solution and buffer and with the waste tank. During the washing operation the microplate is automatically transferred inside
the instrument, protecting the operator against the possible high biological risk manipulation.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
PROGRAMMABLE METHODS: up to 99 methods different in times and volumes of washing solution
HeCo Plus cod. 01030350
HeCo Plus detects 22 or 18 parameters, on normal and pathological samples, with continuous
and automatic auto-loading. It requires only a minimum of blood sample, automatically
aspirated and tested assuring sample homogeneity thanks to the rocking system of the
primary tubes. A maximum of 9x6 positions test-tubes racks (total of 54 samples for
each working session) are easily and automatically loaded and unloaded on the sampling station. HeCo Plus also
allows to collect blood from finger-prick drawings, running in semi-automatic mode thanks to the minimum amount
ofblood sample required. Furthermore, the reduction of reagents consumption enables the operator to keep reagents
inside the instrument. The HeCo Plus is always ready to perform routine and emergency tests with dedicated
PREANALYTICAL SYSTEM
SprintLab cod. 01140000
SprintLab is an automated test tube sample labelling system.
The system prepares labels and test tubes for patients at the collection point, reception
and at ward according to the information received from the LIS.
The system has been designed to manage the blood collection process in order to eliminate
human error from the pre-analytical phase with greater efficiency for the entire
analysis process. Due to the exclusive “EDGE SENSOR” system, which allows a label to be correctly positioned over
the original label, SprintLab guarantees the correct positioning of the label onto the sample tube This will leave a part
of the tube clear in order that it may be inspected visually for the presence of clots or heamolysis etc. This will also
leave the level reference mark clear on the original label.
SprintLab is handled by an Internal PC with 6.4’’ LCD touch-screen colour display. It is equipped with 2 printers:
- with dispensers to label test tubes and with cutters
- to print additional labels for sample containers not directly handled by the systems
The barcode reader can be used to collect patient information in order to produce the required labelled test tubes and
additional labels.
The lower module of the system is composed of 3 extractable trays, each one containing 3 racks for tubes of different
sizes, for a total of 9 racks. The racks can hold 50 tubes (13 mm) or 40 tubes (16 mm). Tubes, placed in the appropriate
racks, are automatically picked up, labelled and gathered in the collection area for each patient. The number of
tubes available is automatically updated. The complete set of labelled test tubes and additional labels are gathered into
SprintLab can be used directly in the ward with a configuration that includes larger wheels and special handles for
improved maneuverability within the ward. The system is light with reduced dimensions in order that it can be used
easily, either in the corridor, a patient’s bedside or emergency wards (Emergency, Trauma, reanimation etc).
OPTIONAL SprintLab Monitor software NEWis
dedicated to the monitoring of installed SprintLabs by dedicated systems
