Due to these prevailing winds, the Sahara Desert is in theprocess ofdesertification, expandingapproximately fourmilesperyear. Calculations based upon the rate of the Sahara’s expansionshowthedeserttobe4,000yearsold. ThisyoungageoftheSaharaDesert fits quite well in the creationist timeline, beginning itsdesertification process soon after the global flood.
