The Filipino-Christian living in a rapidly changing world isconfronted with challenges and alternative lifestyles which demand properdiscernment, evaluation and decision.Prerequisite: TREDONEPrerequisite to: TREDTRI2.6.3 The Christian and the World (TREDTRI). The project aims to develop amanual for the course, The Christian and the Word (TREDTRI),consisting of a student guide and an instructional guide for TREDTRIteachers. The student guide and the instructional guide will indicate thetopics, learning objectives, methodology, activities, evaluation, andresources pertinent to the course.Prerequisite: TREDTWOPrerequisite to: TREDFOR2.6.4 The Christian Vocation of Life (TREDFOR). The search for meaning isinseparable from one's chosen sate of life. Taking into account insightsfrom relevant disciplines, the course deepens the students' generalunderstanding of the universal call to holiness of the Reign of God andvarious responses to it. Moreover, the course prepares then to live inaccord with their chosen response to God's call in an authentic and<strong>La</strong>sallian Christian manner.Prerequisite: TREDTRIPrerequisite to: None2.6.5 <strong>La</strong>sallian Recollection 1 (LASARE1). This one-day recollection for firstyear students focuses on the development of the <strong>La</strong>sallian core values offaith, zeal for service and communion in mission among the participants.Using passages from the Sacred Scriptures and reference to the <strong>La</strong>sallianfounding story, LASARE1 invites each of the participants to 1) recognizeand appreciate their inherent goodness and giftedness in the context ofbeing created in the image and likeness of God 2) explore ways by whichthey can enhance and share their gifts to their respective communities andACM-P003-1 Page 7
