Request for Proposals No. 1204-946-33-3797 <strong>Bad</strong> <strong>Debt</strong> <strong>Collection</strong> <strong>Services</strong>7.0 INSURANCE: If a proposer receives an award and unless otherwise waived in theContract, the Contractor will be required to provide an original Certificate of Insuranceconfirming the following minimum requirements to SAHA within 10 days of contractsignature:Professional LiabilitySAHA and its affiliates must be named as an Additional Insured and be a Certificate Holder.This is required for vendors who render observational services to SAHA such as appraisers,inspectors, attorneys, engineers or consultants.Business Automobile LiabilitySAHA and its affiliates must be named as an additional insured and as the certificate holder.This is required for any vendor that will be using their vehicle to do work on SAHA properties.Workers Compensation and Employer’s LiabilityWorkers’ Compensation coverage is Statutory and has no pre-set limits. Employer’sLiability limit is $500,000.Workers’ Compensation is required for any vendor made up of more than one person. AWaiver of Subrogation in favor of SAHA must be included in the Workers’ Compensationpolicy.SAHA and its affiliates must be a Certificate Holder.Commercial General LiabilityThis is required for any vendor who will be doing hands on work at SAHA properties.SAHA and its affiliates must be named as an Additional Insured and as the Certificate Holder.Required Limits$1,000,000Required Limits$500,000 combinedSingle limit, peroccurrenceRequired LimitsStatutory$500,000Required Limits$1,000,000 peraccident$2,000,000 aggregate8.0 RIGHT TO PROTEST:8.1 Rights: Any prospective or actual proposer or contractor who is allegedlyaggrieved in connection with the solicitation of a proposal or award of a contract,shall have the right to protest. Such right only applies to deviations from laws,rules, regulations, or procedures. Disagreements with the evaluators’ judgmentsas to the number of points scored are not reasons for an appeal. An allegedaggrieved protestant claiming this right is hereby informed that these regulationsdo not provide for administrative appeal as a matter of right for that allegedaggrieved protestant.8.1.1 Definition: An alleged aggrieved “protestant” is a prospective proposer orproposer who feels that he/she has been treated inequitably by SAHA andwishes SAHA to correct the alleged inequitable condition or situation.8.1.2 Eligibility: To be eligible to file a protest with SAHA pertaining to an RFPor contract, the alleged aggrieved protestant must have been involved inthe RFP process in some manner as a prospective proposer (i.e. recipientof the RFP documents) when the alleged situation occurred.
