These operations occur in the SOCALOPAREA.The participants associated with PSYOPS include:Ship(s)2.3.2 Air Operations2.3.2.1 Aircraft Operations Support (AIROPS)AIROPS encompasses operational and logistics support for NSGs by Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, andcontract OPFOR aircraft, to include unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV), during a COMPTUEX/JTFEX. This activity takesplace at military airfields and on ships at-sea. It includesproviding bed-down for the various types of aircraft,equipment for refueling and maintenance, and billeting foraircraft crews and support personnel. This support is requiredfor 10 days during a COMPTUEX and 12 days during aCOMPTUEX/JTFEX. AIROPS take place at W-291, NASNorth Island, MCAS Miramar, Camp Pendleton, NASLemoore, NB Ventura County (NAS Point Mugu), Vandenberg AFB, MCAS Yuma, and NAF El Centro.The aircraft and sorties associated with AIROPS are:Thirty to fifty (30-50) Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and contract aircraftOne-hundred and fifty to two hundred (150-200) sorties spread out over the following areas:2-19 February 2007
