BRAYDON & BRYCEN
For Brycen, my 5 year old son, who is the
joy of my life and inspiration for this book.
AUTHOR’S NOTES
I use to think that once a child exited the “terrible two”
stage that those outrageous things they do would only
get a bit milder. Ha, well needless to say, I found that to
be only a myth. My 5-year-old son, Brycen gets into
more trouble, brakes more stuff, and jumps off more
furniture than I ever expected. Not only does his less
than appropriate behavior keep me on edge, but it also
allows me the opportunity to create comical stories
about his life and others just like him.
“Who broke my
vase, lamp, toaster,
and T.V.?”
Mom, I promise, it wasn’t
me.”
Brycen broke the door
and so much more.
Dad often
raced
downstairs from
the second
floor.
“Who broke
the door
using the
jump rope
toy?”
“Dad, I promise
I’ve been a
good boy.”
“Braydon, Brycen…
Go to your rooms!”
“We’re
doomed.”
“We’re on punishment now.
We can’t visit the mall.”
“That’s ok.
I have a
better idea! “
“Let’s play
baseball.”
“Oooooow!”
“Oh
No!”
“Boys, I’m
going to
the mall. I
want the
house
cleaned
before I
return.”
“Brycen,
I have an
idea.
So,
just
watch
and
learn.”
…bling…
…bling…
“WOW! Which
one of you cleaned
the house while I
was away?”
Mom,
I promise.
I cleaned today!”
“I Did
It!
We are good boys, almost
everyday…
“Mom, can we go to the
mall and get a new game?”
