First version <strong>of</strong> the "guidance <strong>for</strong> use" associated to the version 1.0 <strong>of</strong><br />
the "1 st set <strong>of</strong> the <strong>CSM</strong> recommendations".<br />
This is also the first version <strong>of</strong> the document transmitted to the <strong>CSM</strong><br />
working group <strong>for</strong> Formal Review.<br />
Reorganisation <strong>of</strong> the document to match with the structure <strong>of</strong> version<br />
4.0 <strong>of</strong> the <strong>CSM</strong> recommendation. Update vs. Formal Review Process<br />
by the <strong>CSM</strong> working group on version 1.0 <strong>of</strong> the recommendation.<br />
Update <strong>of</strong> the document with additional in<strong>for</strong>mation collected during<br />
meetings internal to <strong>ERA</strong>, as well as with the requests from the <strong>CSM</strong><br />
task<strong>for</strong>ce and working group to develop new points.<br />
Modification <strong>of</strong> the figure representing the "risk management framework<br />
<strong>for</strong> the first set <strong>of</strong> Common Safety Methods" in accordance with both the<br />
review comments and the ISO terminology.<br />

New appendix <strong>for</strong> gathering all diagrams that illustrate and facilitate the<br />

between the different actors <strong>of</strong> the rail sector whose activities may<br />
impact the safety <strong>of</strong> the railway system;<br />
to bring clarifications about the evidence (e.g. hazard log and safety<br />
case) expected to demonstrate to the assessment bodies the<br />
correct application <strong>of</strong> the <strong>CSM</strong>'s risk assessment process;<br />
