In my art work “Unite” I want to explain, in all
the world visible, blending of traditions.
Some textile materials and techniques have
become “international kitchen”. Influenced
by innovations there are interpretations and
mutations of traditional textile. The “cultural
import” is dialectically influenced by one’s
cultural heritage.
I applied implanted wool fiber into Lithuanian
textile, made for usage, and in this way renovated
national experience.
