On how many strangers photos are you on and
how many strangers are on your photos?
As digital cameras are usual friends of tourists
and travellers on their journeys, the constant
flashing on the streets of the capitals of the
world is becoming more frequent. Everincreasing
capacity of memorycard allows
snapshots on all possible occasions, there is
no need for deep contemplation on the neccessity
of the picture taking. And as the
streets of the cities are crowded with all the
other tourists with similar purposes and
routes, there are rather a lot of strangers on
the snapshots. One can wonder about all
the people on one’s pictures, who they are,
which part of the world they come from and
what kind of life they lead. Even more interesting,
for a vain and curious person, on
how many photos one is, in how many photoalbums
in foreign countries, in stranger
homes, in places and countries one has not
been and maybe never will be. So the virtual
travelling on other people’s photos can lead
one to further places than one could ever
expect.
