SmartBoom
Ravens SmartBoom
is a simple stand
alone automatic boom section control system
that plugs into Raven SCS consoles.
SmartBoom does not require a field computer
and offers automatic boom section
control for up to ten boom sections. This allows the operator to use a
more cost effective method to reduce chemical and fertilizer costs.
The SmartBoom system is similar to the existing AccuBoom system, but
it is a completely self-contained system, eliminating the need to use an
Envizio Plus or Viper to control the system. Using spray or no spray
zone areas, the SmartBoom controller automatically turns the boom
section off if the boom section is in a previously applied area, eliminating
overlaps. It also eliminates skips by turning boom sections back on
after leaving a previously applied area.
How to order:
1. Order Raven console SCS440, 450, 460, or 660 (if not already
installed on machine)
2. Order SmartBoom kit
3. Order DGPS receiver Phoenix 200 or 300 (if not already installed
on machine)

SmartRow is a
quick, affordable
way to add automatic planter section

accurate planting. And with SmartRow's
optimum GPS-guided on-off section
controls, you can also cash in on easier harvesting and higher yields by
avoiding costly skips and cross planting. No field computer required - all
you need is GPS.

Software Updates:
• To update your SmartBoom controller with SmartRow capabilities
and/or interface with Cruizer's on-screen programming, control, and
display, simply download SmartBoom software version 1.08.0002
• To make Cruizer interface with SmartBoom or SmartRow,
download Cruizer software version 1.5.1.1
• To connect Cruizer to the SmartBoom/SmartRow controller,
use Cruizer port expander cable “AG427674”
• No hardware update is required for either the Cruizer or
SmartBoom/SmartRow controller to add these new capabilities
