New Leader G4 Spinner Retrofit Kits<br />
New Leader has now introduced a new version of the G4 Spinner<br />
Retrofit Kit for customers with the GT series and the pre-GT series of<br />
spreaders that will allow them to convert their existing spinner system<br />
into the version that is used on the G4 series of spreaders. The new<br />
kits consist of the frame and fan assembly with the spinner motors,<br />
shield and guard kit, two hydraulic hoses for the spinner motors hookup<br />
and the G4 Spinner Retrofit and Operator's manual.<br />
Notes: To achieve the spread patterns that New Leader promotes,<br />
hydraulic testing may need to be performed. The spread widths are<br />
achieved with 28 to 30 gpm on L2020G4 and 40 to 42 gpm on<br />
L3020G4 machines. This is very important that the customer understands<br />
this! The customer may need to upgrade their hydraulic system<br />
as well. Pre-GT and GT series L2020 required 25-28 gpm, pre-<br />
GT and GT series L3020 required 35-38 gpm, therefore the need to<br />
consider an upgrade to their hydraulic systems.<br />

Hydraulic Oil Cooler Kit for L3020G4<br />
The Cooler Kit comes complete<br />
with the cooler, mounting brackets,<br />
hoses, fittings, and hardware<br />
and is easily mounted to the right<br />
front corner of the spreader. The<br />
cooler has a cooling capacity of<br />
60,000 BTU and includes an<br />
internal cold oil bypass valve and<br />
thermostatically controlled 12 volt<br />
electric fan.<br />

New Leader Spreader Rubber Sleepers<br />
New Leader has recently started using rubber sleepers that are welded onto<br />
the bottom of the frame rails of their fertilizer spreader boxes. These are a<br />
rubber pad with a metal backing that take the place of the wooden sleepers<br />
that have been traditionally used between the box frame rails and the<br />
machine frame rails.<br />
Notes: The 9" long pad is used at the rear of all the spreader boxes (2<br />
used). The 5" long pad is used on the frame cross rails and mounting tiedown<br />
points (11' and 12' boxes require 8, 13' and 14' boxes require 10).<br />
