Belt Over Chain Sealer (L20-20) New Leader L20-20 boxes with a belt over chain uses a steel shield with a rubber sealer riveted to it. The rubber sealer is available in different lengths. You must order rivets separately to install sealer. Instead of using rivets to install the rubber sealer strip to the metal chain shield, an alternative T-bolt and cap nut system is now available to use instead. Note that the T-bolts are available in either zinc plated or stainless steel. Quantities of each to use are as follows: For a 12' box, use 104 of each. For a 12' 6" box, use 108 of each. For a 13' box, use 112 of each. For a 14' box, use 116 of each. For a 15' box, use 124 of each. It is advisable to order a few extra of each part in case they are needed. Notes: To help you to determine the size of the spreader box that you are working with, the chain shields or sealer strips will measure 12" longer than the actual spreader box size. The part numbers are the metal chain shields and these chain shields do not use the rubber sealer strip. Note that there are part numbers for the RH and LH sides, different lengths and also various metal configurations such carbon steel (CS), 409 stainless steel (409SS) and 304 stainless steel (304SS). Pick the proper part according to the size of your spreader and what the spreader has on it. The attaching hardware used to fasten the chain shields to the spreader box is as follows: AG719051 Carriage Bolt-SS, AG562065 Hex Nut- SS and AG562050 Lockwasher-SS. Use these quantities of each p/n per spreader box; 28 per 12.5' spreader, 30 per 13' spreader and 32 per 14' spreader. Notes: The chain shields will measure one foot longer than the spreader box size. If in doubt as to what length is needed, measure the length of the chain shield for size verification.
