TerraShift Transmission with Tier ll Engine
This transmission is used with 8103 and 8104's starting in 2003 with the
Tier ll engines. The parts are the same on those as the AG521591
Transmission, except for the ECU.

Transmission Lubricant
Synthetic lubricant recommended for Road-ranger
transmissions. Ten speed units require 1-1/2 gallons
while the eighteen speed will use 3-1/2 gallons.
Note: 6 gallons per case. Price is per gallon.

Clutches
Applications:

• 9105 & 2505 Cat & Detroit use 518106
Note: For 1991 and older 1603/1664 you also need to order 1-
320014, 1-518038, 1-318111 to install quick adjust clutch.

AN53 Low Speed Axle
This axle was used on the early 1603. The AN53 low speed axle center
section has the flat cover on the topside. S/N 1612147 and below.
Notes: There is a core charge added to new axles and Reman
Advantage axles. The amount credited depends on the condition of
the core.

AN53 High Speed Axle
The AN53 axle center section has
the flat cover on the top side also
has axle mounted park brake pads.

Teammate II Axle
This axle was used on 1992 and early 1993 1603T and 1803's. The
Teammate II axle center section has a flat cover on the front side. The
brakes on this axle use the tangs instead of the dowel pins.
Notes: There is a core charge added to new axles and Reman
Advantage axles. The amount credited depends on the condition of
the core. Contact us for parts on the pre-1992 Teammate II axles.

Teammate II with Air Brake
This axle was first used in late 1993
and is on 1603's, 1803's, and
8103's. It has the external brakes
with the air canister mounted on the
axle.
Notes: There is a core charge
added to new axles and Reman
Advantage axles. The amount
credited depends on the condition of the core. There are no serviceable
parts inside the air canister.
