The system peak demand reduction 4<br />
compliance target for <strong>West</strong> <strong>Penn</strong> is 157.3 MW per Act 129 and<br />
must be achieved by September 30, 2012. Based on CPITD verified gross demand reduction 5 , <strong>West</strong> <strong>Penn</strong><br />
has achieved 30 percent of the demand reduction compliance target. These figures are shown in Figure<br />
1-2.<br />

highest demand, as defined by the PA PUC and is measured in kW or MW.<br />
