Existing Park Facility Inventories & Assessments<br />
Map 8 shows the locations <strong>of</strong> all existing parks in <strong>Lakeville</strong>. A detailed inventory <strong>and</strong><br />
facility assessment for each park has been included as Appendix A along with individual<br />
park plans (if available). Park descriptions include name, location, size, classification,<br />
adjacent l<strong>and</strong> use <strong>and</strong> both existing <strong>and</strong> proposed facilities/equipment.<br />
Recommendations for future changes have also been summarized as part <strong>of</strong> Appendix<br />
A based upon planned improvements, but will be discussed in more detail in following<br />
chapters.<br />
Table 14 is a summary chart <strong>of</strong> all city parks <strong>and</strong> greenway/conservancy areas that<br />
identifies each area’s classification, location, size <strong>and</strong> existing facilities/equipment.<br />
There are 73 park <strong>and</strong> greenway/conservation areas comprising 1,607.18 acres, broken<br />
down as follows: nine community parks, four community play fields, 19<br />
greenway/conservation areas, 32 neighborhood/mini parks, <strong>and</strong> six special use areas.<br />
