OHAUPO CWL The Ohaupo CWL will hold their monthly meeting on
Wednesday 1st April starting with Mass at 12noon (if Fr Gerard available), followed
by a shared luncheon before meeting commences at 1.30pm.

PARISH ANNUAL RETURN Our 2008 Annual Return has been prepared & is
now on the noticeboard for your perusal.
CUPPA The Hospitality Group will be making a cup of tea/coffee for Parishioners
who would like to come along after Sunday Mass today.
MUSIC GROUP PRACTICE Held Thursdays. New players & singers welcome.
ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP? We are looking for any old photos of Parish activities
that would be of interest to all those who attend the Labour Weekend Centenary
Celebrations. If you have any, preferably with names, or anything that
you feel is appropriate, then please leave these at the Parish Office. They will be
returned safe &sound after the celebration. Thank you to those who have already
done so. Also, is there someone in the Parish who would be willing to organise/collate
the display of Parish photos and memorabilia for the Labour
Weekend Centenary Celebrations? Display boards will be made available for

ST PATRICK’S NIGHT SHIN-DIG
‘Cead Mile tailte’ a hundred thousand welcomes. It is symbolic at the tradition,
hospitality & friendship offered to strangers who often visit Ireland & that is what
we got when we went to St Patrick’s Night Shin-Dig.
We were entertained by fine music provided by St John’s College Celidh Band,
directed by Ross Boyce, the musical Director, music that got our feet
tapping & hands clapping.
We were in the mood to dance.
Sr Margaret & the choir entertained us with a variety of Irish Ballads & we were all
encouraged to sing along. We all enjoyed this, some were familiar turns, some
were new but we all gave our best.
Throughout the evening everyone mingled, meeting new people, catching up with
old friends. We finished the evening off with a shared supper, again this was
spectacular, every variety of food was on that table.
I would like to thank Patty Dudson & the Centenary Committee for such a

PARISH CENTENARY Donations received for the past week amount to
$38.30. Many many thanks to those who are donating and continue to donate -
every bit will help towards this wonderful event.
CARITAS LENT APPEAL 2008 Week 5’s collection: $417.00. This weeks envelope
focuses on Bangladesh where Integrated Community Development Project
(ICDP) assists Adivasi people to reclaim land illegally taken from them.
TRESTLE TABLE MISSING Have you removed a trestle table from the Hall in
the past few weeks? If so, could you please return asap. Many thanks.
