headlights and a statement rear spoiler (also standard on ST-L model), the Nissan Pulsar’s

to highlight the Nissan Pulsar’s functionality, with the vehicle’s sleek new contours dramatically

In many ways, the all-new Nissan Pulsar offers the very latest in automotive technology. The New Xtronic Continuously
Variable Transmission (CVT)* with Auxiliary gearbox is a prime example. Its compact and lightweight design with an
expanded gear ratio range allows for powerful acceleration and effortless cruising with great fuel efficiency.
Forget five, six or seven gears, this unique stepless transmission delivers an almost infinite number of gear ratios. In doing
so it eliminates the shift shock between gear changes traditionally associated with automatic transmissions. The result is
extraordinarily smooth acceleration that has to be felt to be believed.
*CVT is standard for Ti models, optional for ST and ST-L.

PLENTY OF POWER,

For the first time, the all-new Nissan Pulsar introduces an impressive, new 1.8 litre 4-cylinder
engine featuring Twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (C-VTC), beehive valve springs,
powervalve and high tumble intake ports. This new engine is all about effectiveness and
efficiency. Complementing the engine is Nissan’s next-generation Xtronic Continuously
Variable Transmission (CVT)^. The engine delivers 96kW of power and 174Nm of torque
and combines with the Continuously Variable Transmission with Auxiliary gearbox to
produce seamless, responsive acceleration and standout fuel economy. A very impressive
6.7 litres per 100km * , which could give you up to 770km on a single tank. ** The all-new
Nissan Pulsar is the perfect balance between performance and efficiency.

INTELLIGENT KEY AND PUSH BUTTON START/STOP
In the Nissan Pulsar Ti, you no longer have to fish around in your bag or
pocket for your keys. The Intelligent Key stays in your pocket or bag and
automatically unlocks the vehicle with the push of a button on the door
handle. Once inside, simply push the start/stop button on the dash to have
the engine purring immediately.
INTEGRATED SATELLITE NAVIGATION
An integrated next generation satellite navigation system delivers 3D
bird’s-eye view graphics through a 5.8" colour touch screen and comes
with an Eco Route function that identifies the most fuel-efficient route to
your destination (Ti model only).
REAR-REVERSING CAMERA
You will be able to reverse more safely in your all-new Nissan Pulsar
Ti thanks to a rear-reversing camera that features distance guidelines,

prevention of collisions and to protect you and your passengers should an
accident occur.
6 AIRBAGS
Dual front, dual side and dual curtain SRS airbags will protect the driver and
passengers in the case of a front or side impact.
VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL (VDC)
VDC compares the actions of the driver with the current vehicle behaviour and
selectively brakes individual wheels, and controls engine power, to help keep the car
on its intended path.
TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS)
Sensing when a front wheel is spinning, TCS responds by reducing throttle or
applying brake pressure to help improve traction.
ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)
In the event of an emergency situation, ABS modulates the brakes to help the
driver maintain stability and steering control as well as preventing the brakes
from locking.
BRAKE ASSIST & ELECTRONIC BRAKEFORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)
Brake Assist senses emergency braking and automatically helps to apply
maximum braking pressure if needed. Meanwhile, Electronic Brakeforce
Distribution sends extra force to the rear brakes when it senses additional weight
in the back.
