THOUGH IT STRETCHES US right now, this week your Finance Committee and
Church Board made the transition of our heat system from oil to gas. Every
indicator seemed to show this was a wise course of action for us long-term and
we will recognize excellent savings. But, there is an up-front expense to this and
so we continue to remind you of the ongoing needs of our Church Family Budget.

Job/apartment listings and event prices are posted on our bulletin board.
Church Office Hours
Mon.–Fri. 8:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m.; Mon–Wed. 1:30–3:30 p.m.; see calendar above
for changes. Pastoral staff hours do not always coincide.
We thank you for setting your phones, watches and other devices to silent
mode during all services, and for observing the parking restrictions in our lot.
As of this week we have completed the transition of our heating system from
oil to gas. Our research showed that this is the right thing to do. Gas is much
cheaper, more stable in delivery and burns cleaner for lower maintenance costs.
There is some expense to this, but we will see that payback over time in
increased savings.
We can only take this good step in stewardship because of the support of the
Church Family Budget. Right now we are a bit behind, but we know you'll
appreciate the ongoing comfort and savings of gas. We trust that many will
appreciate it enough to help defray the costs and cover our other ministry
expenses through the Church Family Budget. Thank you!
