WE HAVE JUST STARTED a new series of discussions at our Wednesday
Recalibration events (10:00 a.m. & 7:00 p.m.) This week we continue to listen to
Paul as he speaks to a confused church in I Thessalonians 4 & 5. (Some of us join
for prayer at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You are more than invited to join us for that.)
SUPPERTIME FRIDAY: This Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Pam & Bill Weisher’s home in
Princeton. Hope to see you there! Bring your favorite dish to share.
SLA ALUMNI WEEKEND: Oct. 7–9. Registration at SLA Friday afternoon, thereafter
at The College Church. The 50-year class hosts the church service. Lunch at Thayer,
an elegant Saturday evening at Thayer, and a Sunday morning pancake breakfast are

COUNTRY & SUSTAINABLE LIVING SEMINARS: Practical info on being

THE MEMORIAL FOR VIRGINIA-GENE RITTENHOUSE is set for Friday, Oct. 14,
at 7:30 p.m. here at the College Church. John Rutter and the New England Youth
Ensemble will be among those performing. Everyone is invited. There will be a
reception following at Thayer Conservatory.
AIDS PROJECT WORCESTER is hosting their 3rd annual "Gospel Fest" as a
fundraiser at the Hadwen Park Congregational Church on Sabbath afternoon,
October 15. Tickets may be purchased in advance and you can go to their website
for more details: aidsprojectworcester.org.
EDUCATION GRANTS: Print forms at tinyurl.com/snecforms (see bottom right of
page); be sure to follow instructions. Notes: Our deadline is Oct. 15 so that we can
meet SNEC’S Oct. 31 hard deadline; we only accept complete applications.

COLLEGE CHURCH FAMILY YARD SALE: 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.
If you have useful items that you don’t want, please consider donating them to the

The good news is that our ongoing renovations and updating
have really made a difference in our church home. More
good news is that we have, for the most part, done this
work and continued the same level of church budget giving.
The bad news is that our church budget giving still remains a little
behind our actual monthly needs. We'd ask you to prayerfully consider that.
