AIDS PROJECT WORCESTER is hosting their 3rd annual "Gospel Fest" as a
fundraiser at the Hadwen Park Congregational Church on Sabbath afternoon,
October 15. Tickets may be purchased in advance and you can go to their website

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: We need College Church members to provide and serve

EDUCATION GRANTS: Print forms at tinyurl.com/snecforms (see bottom right of
page); be sure to follow instructions. Notes: Our deadline is Monday, Oct. 17, so
that we can meet SNEC’S Oct. 31 hard deadline; also, we only accept complete
applications.

DUE TO THE PASTOR'S FILMING in California there will be no Recalibration or
prayer events this Wednesday. We will pick up our discussions next week with I
Corinthians 1-4.
PLEASE MARK OCTOBER 23 on your calendar as we have several important
appointments. At 9:00 a.m. we'll begin with our working breakfast and Church
Business Session. At 10:00 a.m. we'll "open" our Yard Sale (to benefit our kids
ministries) and we'll also ask our newly formed volunteer custodial team to stay by
for orientation and organization as we have this interim period before we create
our long-term solution.
Church Family Yard Sale: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23. If you have
useful items that you don’t want, please consider donating them to the sale.
Proceeds will benefit our children’s ministries. (Remember to pick up unsold
items at the end of the sale or they may be discarded.)
NEEDED: Clean paper grocery bags for the holiday food drive. You may leave
them in the downstairs foyer by the water fountain. Thanks!

The good news is that our ongoing renovations and updating
have really made a difference in our church home. More
good news is that we have, for the most part, done this
work and continued the same level of church budget giving.
The bad news is that our church budget giving still remains a little
behind our actual monthly needs. We'd ask you to prayerfully consider that.
