employed six students and was funded by the Fannie Mae Foundation.<br />

Road Home Professional Rebuilding Registry, 2007-2009. In response<br />

to an RFP issued through the Rome Home <strong>Program</strong> for the Louisiana<br />

Recovery Authority, we were award a $400,000, 2.5 year contract to aid in<br />

the development of an information-based website for article delivery for<br />

use by Road Home grant awardees. This resource will target issues of<br />

rebuilding and will include articles written by architecture faculties and<br />

professionals from across the State. We also will assist in the production<br />

of outreach and dissemination materials for conferences, exhibits and<br />

libraries.<br />

after Hurricane Katrina”, TSA URBANbuild Exhibit Production and<br />

Installation Coordination. In conjunction with <strong>University</strong> of Texas, Austin.<br />

<strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong> Community Design Center, Neighborhood Housing<br />

Services, <strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong>, LA. In order to address ongoing community<br />

recovery and rebuilding issues, we have partnered with a premier<br />

community development corporation as a vehicle to foster direct service<br />

to residences and businesses in the city.<br />

CITYbuild Consortium of Schools, Hosting Organization 2006-2010.<br />

Working as a liaison between design schools throughout the country and<br />

local communities, CITYbuild seeks to assist <strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong> residents and<br />

organizations in recovery. As the host, the <strong>Tulane</strong> City Center offers<br />

resources, lectures, tours, contacts, logistic advice and support, and has<br />

assisted over 15 schools on their visits to <strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong>.<br />

City Park, Because the environmental, design, recreational and<br />

educational activities of City Park in <strong>New</strong> <strong>Orleans</strong> are so inextricably<br />

linked, the ‘Green Studio at City Park’ aims to promote a sustainable<br />

network of urban forests, waterways, recreational and built and natural<br />

systems. Teamed with the Center for Bioenvironmental Research and the<br />

<strong>Tulane</strong> Business School, the <strong>Tulane</strong> City Center provides a venue in<br />

which to conduct, coordinate and provide outreach on research,<br />

educational, public and professional services including guidelines for new<br />

tree planting, invasive species removal and a series of design-build<br />

projects. This is a two-year initial phase to assist City Park in<br />

implementing a post-Katrina vision for one of the country’s largest and<br />

oldest urban parks.<br />
