17 Jhàna Condition (Jhàna Paccaya)<br />

The jhàna-factors are related to their concomitants (i.e. citta and<br />

cetasikas) and to the citta produced corporeality by Jhàna<br />

condition.<br />

18 Path Condition (Magga Paccaya)<br />

The path-factors are related to their concomitants (i.e. citta and<br />

cetasikas) and to the citta-produced corporeality by Path<br />

condition.<br />

19 Association Condition (Sampayutta Paccaya)<br />

The four incorporeal (i.e. mental) aggregates are mutually related<br />

to one another by association condition.<br />

20 Dissociation Condition (Vippayutta Paccaya)<br />

i Corporeal phenomena (dhammas) are related to mental<br />

phenomena by dissociation condition.<br />

ii Mental phenomena are related to corporeal phenomena by<br />

dissociation condition.<br />

21 Presence Condition (Atthi Paccaya)<br />

i The four incorporeal aggregates are mutually related to one<br />

another by presence condition.<br />

ii The four great essentials are mutually related to one another<br />

by presence condition.<br />

iii At the moment of conception, mentality (pañisandhi-citta)<br />

and corporeality (kammaja-råpa) are mutually related to each<br />

other by presence condition.<br />

iv Consciousness and its concomitants are related to the mindproduced<br />

corporeality (cittaja-råpa) by presence condition.<br />

v The great essentials are related to their derived matter<br />

(upàdà-råpa) by presence condition.
