The modern progressive lenses
The design of PX+ progressive lenses was developed to fulfill today‘s visual needs (computer, smart phone,
etc.). Manufactured using the latest Freeform technology, the PX+ progressive lenses can now be offered
with two options :
PX+ Classic
The parameters used to calculate the design of the lens are based on average values. The PX+ Classic offers
a choice of three channel lengths.
PX+ Exclusive
With these lenses the pupil distance of the spectacle wearer is included in the design calculations. The results
are better fields of view and an optimum inset progression. PX+ EXCLUSIVE also offers a choice of three
channel lengths.
The improved visual fields of the PX+ progressive lenses offer maximum comfort in many situations,
no matter whether to use mobile phones, iPads or eReaders. PX+ lenses ease your daily life.

Performance-optimised fields of view
In Freeform production each lens is calculated and optimised individually. In addition to their proven,
comfort-enhancing design, the PX+ lenses also offer performance-optimised fields of view and a very
high wearing comfort.
In the production of conventional progressive lenses, prefabricated progressive surfaces are used.
Therefore the optimization of fields of view is only possible to a limited degree.
Performance-optimised progressive lenses like the PX+ are calculated by considering different factors
of impact, that result in wide fields of view for all values that can be ordered.

Adjustment recommendation
• In general, the lenses are adjusted to the remote focus.
• In the natural head and body posture as well as in the zero vision direction, the centering crosses
need to rest in the middle of the pupil.
