on December 24, 25, and 26.<br />
The <strong>Recreation</strong> Center will close and there will be no<br />
<strong>class</strong>es after 5pm on Tuesday December 4 th .<br />

Fitness Class Descriptions<br />
Fitness <strong>class</strong>es are included in a CRC membership.<br />
Non Members may pay a drop in fee of $5.00 per person, per <strong>class</strong>.<br />
ABtastic!: a 30 minute booster for core and abs made to increase your core strength and to lose inches in your waist.<br />
Abs and Glutes: This 30 minute <strong>class</strong> gives you a quick workout for your abs and your lower body!<br />
Bootcamp: an intense total body workout that will challenge you with cardio, resistance, and interval training.<br />
Booty Blast: a 30 minute express <strong>class</strong> intended to work your glutes for a more toned and lifted bottom.<br />
Core Training: Work on strength and stability of the abdominals and back muscles in this 30-minute <strong>class</strong>. No choreography. All <strong>fitness</strong> levels<br />
welcome.<br />
Cycle: Hills, jumps, sprints, o my! Take your cycling workout indoors with an intense, fun ride! * Sign up before <strong>class</strong> at the front desk to<br />
reserve your cycle bike!<br />
Cycle, Arms and Abs: Get ready for a 75 minute full body workout. This <strong>class</strong> consists of 45 minutes of cycle, 20 minutes of arms and abs,<br />
and finishes with a good stretch.<br />
Fit Kids!: A new <strong>class</strong> that will engage children in regular exercise disguised as Fun! This Class will introduce children to Circuit Training,<br />
Speed/Agility and Games/Relays. Class will include a warm up, stretch, 40 minutes of fun exercise and end with a cool down and stretching.<br />
Ages 6+ can enjoy this <strong>class</strong>!<br />
Fit ‘n Stretch: a 30 minute stretch and flexibility <strong>class</strong>.<br />
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training): This 30 minute workout is a quick way to get an intense workout! Expect repeated bouts of short<br />
duration, high intensity intervals intermingled with lower intensity intervals of active recovery.<br />
Interval Cross Training: Stuck in a rut with the same old cardio routine? Time to switch it up! This <strong>class</strong> will be held on the second floor and<br />
will utilize a variety of equipment, from treadmills to bikes, as well as the track.<br />
Kid’s Calisthenics and Play: This <strong>class</strong> will supply kids with exercise and motion through high energy <strong>fitness</strong> games, relays and other<br />
physical activities. Ages 6+ can enjoy this <strong>class</strong>!<br />
Namaste Cycle: A blend of cycle and yoga for an invigorating workout. Expect basic poses. All <strong>fitness</strong> levels welcome.<br />
Silver Sneakers Muscular Strength & Range of Movement: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to<br />
increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver<br />
Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.<br />
Step: an aerobic workout performed by stepping up onto and down from The Step. This is a cardio based <strong>class</strong> that will increase your<br />
endurance and cardiovascular health.<br />
Strength and Core: focuses on major muscle groups including biceps, chest, gluts, abs and quads in a group exercise, body sculpting <strong>class</strong>.<br />
Sunshine Seniors: a fun and upbeat <strong>fitness</strong> <strong>class</strong> for anyone over the age of 60. This <strong>class</strong> uses a variety of low impact, easy to learn<br />
exercises to ignite health and <strong>fitness</strong> in the older population.<br />
Tone and Flex: This high intensity <strong>class</strong> is focused on large muscle groups through strength and conditioning exercises. Caution: this is a full<br />
body workout meant for experienced exercisers.<br />
Yoga: In a flowing sequence of traditional poses, movement with breath to increase your strength, coordination, concentration, and body<br />
awareness while calming your mind and reducing stress.<br />
Yogalates: Combines Yoga and Pilates to strengthen the core muscles, improve flexibility, posture and balance. Expect basic poses. All<br />
<strong>fitness</strong> levels welcome.<br />
Youth Strength and Cardio Orientation: All youth ages 7-15 must complete a Strength and Cardio Safety Orientation before they can utilize<br />
the weight and cardio rooms. The orientation for ages 7-11 is on Tuesdays; the orientation for ages 12-15 is on Thursdays. Please register at<br />
the front desk. A parent or guardian must attend the first session with the youth.<br />
Zumba ® : an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired dance-<strong>fitness</strong> program that helps you burn calories fast! It’s exercise in<br />
disguise! *All evening <strong>class</strong>es will be held on Collin’s Court #2..<br />
Zumba Gold ® : a Zumba <strong>class</strong> modified to suit the needs of Zumba beginners, active older participants, as well as those just starting their<br />
journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle.<br />
Zumba Gold Toning ® : Through dynamic lightweight resistance training and exciting international rhythms, Zumba Gold-Toning <strong>class</strong>es help<br />
participants build muscle strength, increase bone density, and improve mobility, posture and coordination.<br />
