forestry, construction, mining and
oilfield sectors of the rugged North
American environment. This demanding
landscape has led Brutus to develop
heavy-duty truck bodies that utilize the
finest materials, construction standards
and equipment so your truck body will
give you a long, trouble-free life.
The company’s founder, Gerry Turchak,
envisioned and created our first
heavy duty pickup body called the
Brutus Box back in 1981 to better
serve the logging industry. After some
experimentation, the first Brutus Box
was built and became an immediate
success. Soon customers were asking
us to add cabinets and other features

1 Brutus bodies and decks can be ordered with your choice of heavyduty
all welded steel cabinets or lightweight aluminum cabinets.
Our aluminum cabinets utilize a construction method pioneered
in the aircraft industry called huck-bolting which provides both a
lightweight and durable structure. Huck bolting allows for body
flex and movement without cracking unlike welded aluminum
cabinets which are prone to metal crystallization and breakage.
All of our aluminum bodies come with the same standard
structural warranties as steel bodies.
2 All Brutus door panels are constructed of 1/8” aluminum with
interior stiffeners. The doors are completely smooth and seamless
and flush mount into the body. You can choose any style and
configuration from single or double vertical doors, single or
double horizontal doors, roll-up doors, and even custom
flip-up doors.
3 Brutus bodies come standard with 1/8” aluminum shelves.
Each shelf can be infinately adjusted through the full height of
the cabinet and then locked into position.
4 Brutus body interiors can be outfitted with optional steel or
aluminum work trays/cargo beds. These can be ordered in any depth
and width and come with locking latches and heavy-duty roller
bearing sliders with extended capacities from 250 lb to 4,000 lb
5 Brutus offers three styles of tool and bolt cabinet drawers made
of galvanized steel or Huck bolted aluminium.The drawers can
be ordered in any height, width and depth you desire. Drawers
come with heavy duty roller bearing sliders, stainless slam latches,
stainless locking handles, top shelf, and adjustable dividers.
6 When you design your Brutus body, you have three lighting
options available to you. We offer ceiling mounted lights, door
mounted lights that swivel 90 degrees and for the ultimate
lighting we have recessed LED rope lighting for no interior
shadows.
7 Brutus offers a wide range of high quality exterior lighting for your
new service truck that range from standard 50W halogens to the
daylight creating 1500W halogens. We also offer a full range of amber
and LED lighting products as well as Whelen emergency lighting.
8 Brutus bodies come with a standard double wall steel or
aluminum tailgate that has dual zinc plated latches with stainless
hardware, heavy-duty hinges with grease nipples and brass inserts,
and grip tape for safe access to the cargo bay. You can also order
your new service body with custom tailgates from fold down
workbenches to removable mesh gates.
9 Brutus bodies and decks come standard with a smooth rear step
bumper coated in anti-skid Hippo Liner. You can also order custom
bumpers with extended lengths, workbenches, cutting tables,
welding benches, anything you can think of.
10 Brutus service bodies come standard with a sliding aluminum
roof while our service decks come standard with an aluminum
flip-up roof. Roof systems can be ordered in any length and can be
mounted flush with the cabinet tops or raised to any height you
desire. For the ultimate roof system we also offer fully enclosed
workshops in either steel or aluminum construction.
11 Brutus service bodies and decks come standard with a smooth and
seamless finish with no exposed weld joints that is unmatched in
the service truck industry. Brutus bodies are painted with premium
quality PPG polyurethane in your choice of flat or metallic finish.
To help maintain the beautiful finish on our bodies we apply
clear 3M vinyl coatings to the cabinet front, bottom, and wheel
well edges. To protect the wheel well areas from road debris
we apply Gator Guard, while all stepping surfaces like the cargo
bay and rear steps come with ant-skid Hippo Liner coatings.
Cabinet fronts are protected by full width and height sheets of
glue bonded aluminum diamond plate or brushed stainless steel.
These protective measures combined with high quality paint and
stainless steel hardware and components means you will have a
long trouble free life with your Brutus service truck.

your choice of paint color, crane, and compressor. For those
requiring immediate delivery we also offer completed service
trucks through our extensive network of chassis vendors,
choose from a wide variety of service decks, bodies, and crane
trucks. Customers can pick-up their new service truck from
the factory or we can deliver it anywhere in North America by
our professional delivery service.
