CORPUS LINGUISTICS IN CHINA 2011 (CLIC 2011)
November 19-20, 2011
Beijing, China
We sincerely welcome you to the Symposium on Corpus Linguistics in China 2011 (CLIC 2011),
the first major event after the founding of Corpus Linguistics Society of China (CLSC) in April
2009.
The symposium aims to bring together corpus linguists in the whole country of China, including
Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, as well as those in neighbouring Asian countries, to swap
experiences in research. Participants are expected to report on a wide spectrum of corpus studies.
CLIC2011 will provide a forum for people to discuss and predict future developments in the
discipline, as corpus linguistics is now entering a stage of crucial importance in its development.
Hopefully, possible cooperation in research can also be discussed.
