SKILLS CANADA COMPETITION<br />
MEET <strong>2004</strong> will host a portion of the Skills<br />
Canada New Brunswick Provincial Competitions.<br />
These competitions bring students together<br />
from across New Brunswick to complete<br />
projects which will be judged based on skills and<br />
accuracy. These industry related contests are<br />
an incredible display of hands-on expertise,<br />
talent, and determination showcasing the many<br />
promising futures to be found in trades and<br />
technology.<br />
The Skills Canada NB Competitions being<br />
hosted at MEET <strong>2004</strong> are made possible with<br />
help from New Brunswick Community College,<br />
Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification<br />
branch of the Department of Training and<br />
Employment Development, CIPH, ASHRAE,<br />
Electro Federation, and IES.<br />
careers as a first choice career option for<br />
Canadian youth. Our mandate is to look for<br />
ways to guide students toward the professional<br />
opportunities available in the skilled trade and<br />
technology fields. Along with our private and<br />
public sector partners, we are helping to secure<br />
Canada's future skilled labour needs.<br />
