The 2003 event was proud to include a<br />

number of additional industry leading<br />

sponsor associations such as the<br />

<strong>Plumbing</strong> Contractors of America<br />

(PCA), Construction Contractors’<br />

Alliance (CCA), American Backflow<br />

Prevention Association (ABPA), Refrigeration<br />

Service Engineers Society<br />

(RSES), The PVF Roundtable, and<br />

many more. As the only show committed<br />

to complete trade show consolidation,<br />

ISH North America partners continue<br />

their concerted effort toward<br />

meeting that goal.<br />

Numerous on-site events are held at<br />

ISH North America to enhance the<br />

attendee experience. The New Product<br />

Showcase allows exhibiting companies<br />

the opportunity to display their new<br />

product offerings in a featured location<br />

on the exhibit hall floor. In 2003<br />

almost 100 new products where introduced<br />

in eight categories: Kitchen &<br />

Bath, <strong>Plumbing</strong> & Piping, Heating &<br />

Ventilation, Software & Electronic<br />

Equipment, Industrial Products, Tools<br />

& Equipment, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration<br />

and Hydronic Heating. For<br />

<strong>2004</strong>, awards will be presented in each<br />

of the product categories and a best<br />

overall product award will honor<br />

deserving companies innovative submissions.<br />

Another highly anticipated<br />

event is PHCC’s International Apprenticeship<br />

Contest. The contest drew<br />

record-breaking participation in 2003<br />

and looks to exceed that for the<br />

upcoming show. <strong>Plumbing</strong> apprentices<br />

from all over the world gather to compete<br />

for scholarships and recognition.<br />

A comprehensive seminar program<br />

is a major complement to the trade<br />

show. The educational component is<br />

arranged into seven industry specific<br />
