Time trends in services and products used in most recent quit attempt<br />

There was a significant increase between 2006 and <strong>2009</strong> in <strong>the</strong> proportion <strong>of</strong> people<br />

who used <strong>the</strong> Quitline in <strong>the</strong>ir last quit attempt, after adjusting for age (p-value < 0.05).<br />

In contrast, use <strong>of</strong> friends or family significantly decreased between 2006 and <strong>2009</strong><br />

(p-value < 0.05). There were no o<strong>the</strong>r significant changes between 2006 and <strong>2009</strong> in<br />

<strong>the</strong> services or advice used by recent quit attempters in <strong>the</strong>ir last quit attempt<br />

(Figure 37).<br />
