Manufactured cigarette consumption
Among current smokers aged 15–64 years, 60.2% (57.0–63.3) smoked manufactured
cigarettes (also known as tailor-made cigarettes). There was no significant difference
by sex.
Manufactured cigarette consumption, by age group
The prevalence of smoking manufactured cigarettes was higher in the older age groups
than in the younger age groups (confirmed using logistic regression) (Figure 18).
Current smokers aged 15–19 years were the least likely to smoke manufactured
cigarettes, but this age group was not significantly different from all of the other age
groups.
