Manufactured cigarette consumption<br />

Among current smokers aged 15–64 years, 60.2% (57.0–63.3) smoked manufactured<br />

cigarettes (also known as tailor-made cigarettes). There was no significant difference<br />

by sex.<br />

Manufactured cigarette consumption, by age group<br />

The prevalence <strong>of</strong> smoking manufactured cigarettes was higher in <strong>the</strong> older age groups<br />

than in <strong>the</strong> younger age groups (confirmed using logistic regression) (Figure 18).<br />

Current smokers aged 15–19 years were <strong>the</strong> least likely to smoke manufactured<br />

cigarettes, but this age group was not significantly different <strong>from</strong> all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r age<br />

groups.<br />
