Current smoking, by neighbourhood deprivation<br />

After adjusting for age, both males and females living in <strong>the</strong> most deprived<br />

neighbourhood areas (NZDep2006 quintiles 4 and 5) were found to be significantly<br />

more likely to be current smokers than males and females living in <strong>the</strong> least deprived<br />

neighbourhood areas (NZDep2006 quintile 1) (Figure 6).<br />
