Exposure to second-hand smoke at home in the past week, by ethnic group
Table 15 gives an indication of the prevalence of second-hand smoke exposure among
non-smokers in the home, by ethnic group.

After adjusting for age, Māori non-smokers were found to be more likely to be exposed
to second-hand smoke in the home compared with the total population (Figure 65).
European/Other non-smokers were less likely to be exposed to second-hand smoke in
the home compared with the total population. There were no other significant
differences by ethnic group.
