This book represents the work <strong>and</strong> expertise of dozens of researchers over a<br />

significant period of time. In particular, we would like to thank all the case<br />

study <strong>and</strong> country profile authors for their detailed analyses of the <strong>health</strong> policy<br />

responses to the <strong>economic</strong> <strong>crisis</strong> in their countries. We would like to extend<br />
