term <strong>of</strong> this Agreement. Any fees charged by the plan administrator shall be borne by the<br />

participating Artist(s) on a pro rata basis.<br />

These contributions are to begin with the first employment under this Agreement.<br />

Per diem and meal money shall not be computed as part <strong>of</strong> the minimum compensation.<br />

B. HEALTH (MEDICAL COVERAGE)<br />

The Employer acknowledges the existence <strong>of</strong> the AGMA Health Fund and agrees<br />

to execute all documents relating to the Employer’s obligation under this Fund. Notwithstanding<br />

what is otherwise stated in Sections 15.C., D. and E, should an eligible Artist elect available<br />

coverage under a plan other than the AGMA Health Fund, the Employer shall contribute the cost<br />

<strong>of</strong> the selected plan in an amount not to exceed the otherwise required monthly contribution to<br />

the AGMA Health Fund for the individual coverage.<br />

In the event the Employer has, after investigation, established the availability <strong>of</strong> a<br />

local “Health Plan” that Employer believes to be comparable or superior to the Plan made<br />

available by the AGMA Health Fund, AGMA will meet with the Employer when invited, to<br />

consider adoption by the Employer <strong>of</strong> the said available “Health Plan” in place <strong>of</strong> the Plan <strong>of</strong> the<br />

AGMA Health Fund.<br />

C. EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTION<br />

1. The Employer hereby agrees to contribute the premiums for individual<br />

coverage to the AGMA Health Fund Plan A in monthly installments for each Artist employed on<br />

a yearly guaranteed contract. The Employer will not contribute to the AGMA Health Fund for<br />

<strong>Artists</strong> whose actual yearly employment by the Employer, starting with September 1st <strong>of</strong> any<br />

year is less than four (4) weeks.<br />

2. The Employer hereby agrees to contribute the premiums for individual<br />

coverage to the AGMA Health Fund Plan A for each Artist engaged upon a weekly employment<br />

contract. If an Artist has been employed for not less than four (4) weeks beginning July 1 in any<br />

year and if an Artist is employed for not less than one (1) week in any calendar month, he shall<br />

be guaranteed full medical insurance coverage for the entire month.<br />

3. The Employer shall contribute twelve (12) months <strong>of</strong> medical insurance<br />

premiums for each Artist who is engaged for twenty (20) weeks or more, commencing with the<br />

first month <strong>of</strong> weekly or annually Guaranteed Employment. HOWEVER, if an Artist is released<br />

by his or her own written request; or if the Artist’s contract is terminated for just cause, medical<br />

insurance premiums will only continue for one (1) month after the Artist’s termination <strong>of</strong><br />

employment.<br />

4. In those instances where the Employer engages the <strong>Artists</strong> on a<br />

Guaranteed Employment Basis as defined herein, the Employer will contribute to the AGMA<br />

Health Fund and the AGMA Retirement Fund as follows:<br />
